1) NCF Casualty estimates and

Casualties – The NCF casualty estimates
In an attempt to produce more a more accurate set of figures we have decided to focus on those published by the Violations Documenting Centre (VDC) as this source consistently publishes reports of identified casualties (including names of victims), with only a handful unidentified. We feel that this source currently gives the most reliable insight into the extent of the casualty damage at this stage of the conflict when compared to others that only identify a small minority of the dead.
