PRESS RELEASE
The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic would like to draw your attention to the statement made by the Vice President Mr. Farouk Al-Shara’ on Syria’s readiness to resume diplomatic relations with Iraq after the formation of the new Iraqi government in order to guarantee the interests of the two brotherly peoples. This statement proves the commitment of Syria to back and support the political process in Iraq aiming at the safeguard of its territorial unity, Arab belonging and complete sovereignty.
